world champion Rafael Lovato Jr is already on his way to England, for the ADCC 2011. From Oklahoma City, Lovato made a stop in New Jersey, before crossing the ocean. As it was a long connection, Lovato took the opportunity to finish his training at a fellow GMA academy. He took on to the mats of Savarese BJJ, in Lyndhurst, NJ. He and his black belt Justin Rader was welcomed by black belt Chris Savarese. Lovato wrote about it and posted a picture: “Had a long layover in Jersey on my way to England and called up my East coast brother, Chris Savarese to take us to his mats. We had a great technical session and I had a blast hanging with the funniest guy I know. I can’t get enough of his stories and the accent to go with it is priceless! Thanks Sav!”
