Savarese teenage sensation dominates NJBJJF tournament
Congrats to Theresa “Baby T†Zeppetelli on winning her purplebelt division at the NJBJJF this weekend. She is only 16 yrs old but is already one of the most technical students in our academy. Her foundation is excellent, she is good from standing, top and bottom and everything is crisp and she knows her self defense inside and out. We recently bumped her to purplebelt (which we have only done once before at this age) and challenged her w this tournament. She had to bump up 2 divisions and faced a very good competitor in the finals, who hasn’t lost a match in awhile and Baby T came out on top despite giving up 27lbs. I really look forward to see where she will be in a couple of years. #savaresebjj #smashinggoals #nofearÂ
