Lyndhurst Martial Arts school shines at Grapplers Quest
Savarese BJJ Academy, a Lyndhurst Martial Arts school, shined at Grapplers Quest this weekend. The Grapplers Quest is the biggest jiu-jitsu and submission grappling tournament in the United States. The small Lyndhurst NJ school is starting to get quite a reputation as one of the best up and coming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in the country. People from all over the country are stopping in to train when they are in NJ and giving head instructor and owner Chris Savarese rave reviews as an instructor.
One of America’s best visits
This weekend, Rafael Lovato Jr, 1 of only 2 Americans to ever win the World BJJ Championship, sent his student Justin Rader to NJ by Savarese and had Savarese corner Rader in his quest to win the $1000 prize for the mens 140-149lb pro division! Rader came out on top, defeating Marcus “Louro”Galvao in the finals. Congrats to Rader and the rest of the following Savarese BJJ students who won the 6/12/10 Grapplers Quest.
