Leo Alves makes BJJ instructor proud

There are things that happen when you are a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor that make you so proud that it will take plastic surgery to get the smile off your face. Yesterday, I found out that my student Leo Alves, my 15 yr old killer orangebelt, went door to door in his neighborhood on Monday shoveling after the snowstorm to raise enough $ to attend the Rafael Lovato Jr seminar next month! No excuses! He gets it already. I am so proud of him that I have been smiling for 2 days straight. He is the future of Savarese BJJ Academy!
