Puopolo-Owen

BJJ match of the day is James Puopolo vs. Matt Owen at a Grapplers Quest in 2009. Puopolo is a Rafael Lovato Jr. student and is one of the top up and coming American competitors for awhile winning the Mundials as a purplebelt in 2009 and winning two medals as a brownbelt in 2010. This year he won the Pan Am and took 2nd in the absolute as a brown belt and he won the ADCC West Coast trials. Even though he is a rookie, he will be a very dangerous opponent for the other 99 kg competitors in ADCC.
