Megaton-Ribeiro

BJJ match of the day is a match between Royler Gracie Blackbelt Wellington “Megaton” Diaz vs. Welton Ribeiro at the 2009 Rio Open. Megaton fought in the very first World Championship in 1996 and continues to compete every year against men half his age. In his youth, “Megaton” was a name given to him because of his takedown slam prowess. The slams were often so loud they resembled a megaton bomb. he continues to be an inspiration to all of us senior BJJ practitioners.
